Let's just start off with the reason for this blog.  I'm unhealthy.   My health issues include Type II Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Obesity, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS),  Rheumatoid Arthritis, Depression and Gluten intolerance. I am on 3 different medications right now (one for blood pressure, one for depression, one for diabetes/PCOS).  I have been trying/failing in my war against my weight and health.  As some as you may know, I have previously blogged about this as well. I just can't seem to find my stride.  So it's time for a change.

I am going to follow the principles behind the movie, Hungry for Change.  100 days.  I will document every day on this blog.  Every morning I will a blood sugar test and a food log and report.  Once a week I will do a blood pressure test.  I will post how I feel each day.  I will be completely and utterly open.  My life will be an open book.  Well, my health life anyway. I will weigh in on the first day, but won't weigh again until the 100th day.

This is an experiment. I am not a nutritionist.  I am not a doctor.  I am only someone who is finding the road that leads to health for me.  Please do your own research and utilize any professionals you trust to find the correct road for you.
